TL;DR
The Blue Ninja Shopify App is the Shopify connector and installation surface for Blue Ninja. One install, one permission set, one billing relationship — with two modules: Authority (Support Hub and Answer Hub publishing) and Performance (revenue and attribution data). The app is currently in development and will be available on the Shopify App Store.
What the app does
The Shopify app does two jobs:
- 1Connects your Shopify store to the Blue Ninja Portal — linking your store to your Blue Ninja organisation, billing, and active modules.
- 2Provides a Shopify-native way to run EntityMesh and RevenueLoop modules — so Shopify merchants can access both engines without leaving the Shopify ecosystem.
The two modules
Authority module (Shopify)
- Builds a Support Center and Answer Hub structure that search engines and AI answer engines can cite.
- Publishes structured FAQ and Answer Hub content in a Shopify-friendly way.
- Adds schema markup to support pages for FAQPage, HowTo, Article, and BreadcrumbList coverage.
Performance module (Shopify)
- Uses Shopify orders, refunds, and marketing parameters to power Revenue Pulse and attribution confidence scoring.
- Helps merchants understand which channels and campaigns lead to profit and LTV — not just clicks.
- Connects to Stripe for revenue truth layer data and to Brevo for lifecycle playbook execution.
How the install works
- 1Merchant installs the Blue Ninja app from the Shopify App Store.
- 2OAuth completes and your Shopify store is linked to your Blue Ninja organisation.
- 3You choose which module(s) to activate: EntityMesh, RevenueLoop, or both.
- 4The app redirects you into the Blue Ninja Portal with confirmed integration status.
Shopify app pricing
The Shopify app is in active development, and its plans and prices will be confirmed at launch. Nothing is published here yet because the app is not purchasable — pricing is expected to follow a free-to-install trial with volume-based tiers, but the tier names, included order volumes, and prices are not final.
When the app launches, billing will follow the Shopify merchant billing cycle, and current pricing will be published in the funnel at entitymesh.io. Note that Shopify may charge for a billing period even if an app is uninstalled shortly after install, depending on timing.
Data and privacy
Blue Ninja uses server-side data ingestion (orders, customers, checkout events) via the Shopify Admin API and webhooks — not pixel-based PII collection. This is the privacy-first approach that aligns with Shopify's protected customer data rules (enforced from December 2025).
GDPR webhooks are fully implemented:
customers/data_requestcustomers/redactshop/redact
On redact requests, Blue Ninja deletes or irreversibly anonymizes all customer PII linked to the shop.
